My girlfriend spilt an oil based foundation onto a cotton fabric dress and can't find a solution to get rid of it...any help?Anyone know how to remove foundation make-up off clothes?
With oil based makeup you must remove the oil and to do that Dawn dish detergent, in my opinion and through trial and error, works best. I rub it in and let is set a bit then rinse it out.... If stain is stubborn I reaply the Dawn dish detergent and use a soft, old/used tooth brush to move the fabric fibers around to penetrate the stain deeper then rinse. Wash as usual and you should be good to go... :-)Anyone know how to remove foundation make-up off clothes?
try using cleanser on the stain, and use cotton wool to wipe away the cleanser
