I think it can cause break outs and skin to age faster. Skin needs to breathe and foundation doesn't let the skin do that. I recommend powder foundation over liquid foundation. Liquid foundation does stay longer but it is worse on your skin. Powder is very light on your skin.





Foundation does make your skin looks more flawless, I use it myself. I use powder foundation and if you want it to stay on longer I would suggest using a primer with it. I would recommend you buy NARS primer and powder but they are expensive. Rimmel London Fix %26amp; Perfect primer is also very good and you can get it at wal-mart and drugstores. For powder a cheaper one would be the Sephora Mattifying powder or the Maybelline Dream Matte powder. I have used both and liked them very much.What harms and effects does foundation make-up do?
ok so the whole point of wearing foundation is to achieve even skin if uve got a foundation that is lighter than ur natural skin tone u end up looking like a mime if you got foundation darker than ur skin tone u end up either looking red or really heavy on the face. Having the wrong foundation that dosnt match ur skintone wont do harm to ur skin it will just make u look weird. I suggest heading to sephora to get a professional to match u to ur right foundation. Some cheaper foundations like revlon and maybelline use red pigments to give color to there products which is why i ended up having a red face. While with loreal they have colors that tend to be to pink and pale which is why i ended up being too white. Im a medium skin tone with olive undertones now i had no idea that i was that till my sephora consultant told me. But higher end foundations are made from finer minerals and when properly match can exactly match ur skin tone to give u a flawless face. In short having a foundation that dosnt match ur skintone wont harm ur skin ull just look really weird and fake in the face it will look like ur wearing makeup ( sry for misspell )
well, sometimes the wrong liquid one can cause breakout and clog pores.. sometimes its also heavy.


and yes. it makes a huge difference if the foundation doesnt match your face.


WHY WOULD YOU PAY MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR NATURAL FACE COLOR.

Well some foundations can you break you out, and if you don't wash it off it could clog up your pores and stuff. But it really doesn't do any harm. It's meant to cover up and make you look more natural thats all. =]
nothing really but if you dont clean it off then you get dirt in your pores and lcog them up and make pimples!
