Foundation should be one shade darker say you were fair you would use the next one up if you use one lighter you will look really pale but you natural colour seeps through in places not a good look :) hope i helped
You could purchase such a foundation, but my bets are on that it will not cover many flaws. Try getting one to match your skin color or even a shade slightly darker. It provides a better coverage.
