What kind of make-up (foundation etc) do themakeup artists use in soaps such as hollyoaks etc?

They use stage make-up thats made specifically to compliment the lights/cameras etc.What kind of make-up (foundation etc) do themakeup artists use in soaps such as hollyoaks etc?
stage make up that they use in a theatre under heavy lighting is called grease paint, which is a thick oily paint...very bad for your skin if worn as normal everyday makeup. Mac is not a grease paint, and therefore is not stage makeup. If what they use on soaps is Mac, then obviously they are not put under the same lighting conditions as on the stage.

Almost all companies when it comes to stage make up as long as they can afford it they will use mac which is the most well known stage make up
It's stage/theatrical make-up, which is much thicker and heavier than normal make-up. This is why on screen their skin looks flawless but in ';real life'; they have just as much flaws as the rest of us. I have heard that Cameron Diaz uses it as her normal make-up because she has really bad acne pitted skin. There are loads of web sites that sell this type of make up if thats what ur looking for.
Wat is mac exactly coz in all the soaps everyones skin looks fantstic and its like.....so unfair and its like.....i'd luv to se them without it...i use avons mineral powder wich it ok but u cant use it on ur whole face otherwise u look like u've been dunked into a dust pile, lol =)

Leichner is a stage makeup and is exteremely thick its excellent you can get it from moss chemists if you have not got a moss chemist near try online you also need a powder too a loose one this will give you a flawless look .

im not sure what brand but i know they use airbrushing to put it on. anyone can buy it but its pretty expensive, looks great though
make-up artests dont limit them selves to one brand like mac! yeah they will use mac but! they will also use loads of other brands too, like laura mercia, lorial(believe it or not they use drug store 2!) benefit! antthing they dont care aslong as they create the right look!
